Housed in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, within the College of Education and Health Sciences, our Bachelor of Science and minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders provide a foundation in speech anatomy and physiology, phonetics, and language acquisition.

If you are considering majoring in another discipline such as elementary education, minoring in communication sciences and disorders could be especially useful if you would like to become a teacher or work with children and adults in educational settings. The courses you take will vary whether you are majoring or minoring in the discipline.
